This team lacks energy and fight. I know Lucic was supposed to push this team to play more aggressive, but that ain’t happening now.
What do we do about DeBrusk? Does he have any trade value being a UFA?

I could not disagree more with Conroy about the Bruins not needing a big, tough and mean D guy when they're at full strength. Come on, now. The other clubs are setting up shop in front of Ullmark and Swayman without fear of getting dumped on their asses. Did he not watch today when big Lawson Crouse scored his goal in front of Ullmark without a B's defender near him or better willing to engage him? McAvoy is their most consistently physical defenseman perhaps followed by Forbort. After that, there's Matt Grit-less, MItchell, Shattenkirk, Carlo and Lindholm. They need someone to serve notice the night is gonna be difficult for those who enter the Bruins' end. A functional, rugged forward is also needed up front because if this team, as presently assembled were to enter the playoffs, they'd get knocked around and out in a manner similar to what Tampa and St. Louis did some years ago. The Bruins have no ignitor(s), players to consistently step into the other teams the way A. J Greer did whenever he hopped over the boards. Beecher tries but he's a rookie learning on the go. This team reminds me of the season before Greer joined them. Little or no physical initiations or resistance. I hate to think where they'd be in the standings if not for how Ullmark and Swayman have been most of this year so far. Remember two years ago when former Boston coach said the Bruins needed more "pricks?" Still holds true now. The Bruins need more teeth. KPD is correct in that we are starting to see the results of no one on the bench that causes the other club concern regarding the likelihood of being hit. Even worse is the reality of the other team taking liberites with Pastrnak and others without fear of retribution as seen recently in games against the Blue Jackets and Rangers. It's open season with no protection. Not a straight up enforcer like Reaves but some players who can actually play, who have discrenable skill sets and not just the reliance on one: fighting. At the start of training camp last September, I hoped of a fourth line of Lucic and Greer on the wings with Beecher in the middle with Lauko as the extra forward rotating in. I'd have kept Greer over Heinen as a roster spot because of his rugged play.
One game doesn't define the ethos of this team over an 82 game schedule. Are they great? No. Are they competitive? Yes, often…but not always. I miss Cliffton, always liked him and sorry they lacked cap space to resign him. Are the Bruins in need of roster changes this year to fix the defensive grit game? Perhaps, but it's a long season and there are multiple facets to the post-Bergeron/Krejci evolution that will take time to play out. This is the team I expected to see this year following the generational retirements, including the surprise emergence of rookies that will tease us throughout the year. Stay the course.
