Too loose on D again. Allowed a lot of space. Got away from the forecheck too. No excuses for Kredier. He needs to play hard for 60 minutes not just on the PP.
they didnt show up, simple as that. i know were in a good spot right now but we cant take bad losses like this it should be close if its an L weve been slacking in the 1st period lately and i think its carrying over
You have to have structure when you play well through most of the season this team has played well structurally there is no neutral zone presence there is no attention to play in the other team zone or play below the goal line you can't just go back and forth and try to get every going transition you have to get below the goal line and you have to back check the team is not playing good defense that's the problem too many rushes and too many mistakes too many silly plays too many giveaways
The other thing is the way the offense is right now they're not getting enough contribution 5 on 5 from Chris kreider or Mika they have to be better in terms of their north-south game they're going too much east and west and they're giving up just way too much defensively I'm tired of watching teams just skate over the blue line
This team will play well against the kings tomorrow night .. why because they played to the level of their competition Columbus the sharks Nashville the capitals these are all 500 a little bit above teams they're not great teams
I've been a Rangers fan for almost 40 years now. There's one thing that's been consistent the entire time I've been watching them. They have an undeniable skill for looking like the best and the worst team in the same season, every season.🤦🏻♂️
Took 25 games to lose consecutive games. We’ve seen the team over the years go from looking cup 1000% to looking like a lottery team. Theres alittle concern especially going against the hottest team in league sunday night. If u get the struggles out now instead of april i’ll take it now.

Put the hot start aside, this team is awful 5 on 5 and still does not have the physical toughness needed to win multiple playoff series, they dont go in front of the net and they are still too power play reliant. They can be pushed around by bigger chippier teams you saw the Caps do it last night, this team never addresses the toughness issue or physicality that is needed in the playoffs.
