  1. You suck Schmid! Hey Ruff! Get Daws from the Comets and send either Schmid or Vanny to the minors!

  2. I thought we had a okay 3rd other than Akira’s gaffe. Felt bad for him but it happens sometimes. I figured we wouldn’t win this one anyway; tough turnaround especially on the road. Let’s think positive – won 3/4 on the road trip. (I hope) we’ll be ready for Boston on Wednesday. 😈

  3. I get it that fatigue was a factor but the team was too slow. Wrong decisions all over the ice, bad zone exits, again that pathetic play safe attitude. The PP is becoming a joke. This constant circle skating by Jack, everyone is passing when you need to shoot the puck. Are they afraid of shooting the puck or what? They clearly run out of any ideas on the PP. That's on coaching! I wonder what must happen for you to realise Meier is a bust and you turn on him. And yeah, again that guy Vanecek! What was he doing on the third goal?!😁 3-1 on the road. I expected worse so I'll take it

  4. Gotta make a trade, gotta find a way to stay healthy, gotta get back to running 4 lines. Missing Nosek & Haula who have been dinged up all season long doesnt help. Bastian seems like hes lost the umph he once brought to the team. Smith is Smith. Tierney isnt bad but brings nothing to the table. Timo is clearly not 100% yet and isnt skating well. Time to make some changes and upgrades to this lineup. No were not even close to playing our best hockey but its not the most encouraging right now. Lastly, it feels like weve given up half as many goals as the whole season last year, in just 26 games played. Dont think us Devils fans can even count on 2 hands how many games weve given up 4+. Thats just unacceptable.

  5. While the ending score was bad, the Oilers by no means owned them tonight. In previous games like the first period yesterday and that horrible game against the Sharks the Devils gave up massive defensive breakdowns all night. That wasn’t the case tonight. It was more even play, but clearly they still aren’t playing the second half of back to back games well and tonight it seemed like they were looking to pass too much. Needed a shoot first mentality.
