Ur taught to never hit from behind… then when u make it to the nhl for some reason it’s allowed they never call it, a guy loses a foot race to the puck n then the checker drills the guy into the boards n unless he’s carted off on a stretcher they never call it… it makes no sense to me; that should be a 5 min major and like 5-10 game suspension wake the fook up nhl, that ain’t a hockey play… im not a fan on blue jackets but im tired of seeing d men getting drilled from behind into boards
He’s been in the league long enough to avoid the vulnerable situation. Protect yourself and you absorb the hit instead of making a dumb backhand and put your face in the glass. Keep your head up it’s the NHL

Eh, it wasn’t dirty or intentional. If you see where he hit it was shoulder on shoulder. It wasn’t in the numbers. Embellishment more than anything.
This is why i do not watch n.h.l. anymore. They should call it the (r.i.p.) Jerry springer of professional sports. All they need is a boxing bell.
