There’s really no “overrated” teams currently, but boy there’s a lot of underrated.
Flyers and Jets are teams really surprising me the most. A Colorado commentator called the Flyers “borderline playoff team” when they sit in 2nd behind the Rangers lol.
Not a bad vid but think he needs to update his mindset of the islanders having their identity being a defensive close you down type of team. The last season under trotz was abysmal but that identity got tossed in the garbage once he left. Our current identity is forty minute hockey and always leaving a man completely uncovered in a high danger spot.
The Rangers are better and ended that streak. Suck it. La is whack for hockey.
Flyers are looking awesome in a boring way but they are winning. To me until McDavid leads his team to a cup hes just another great hockey player not a true champion.
Panthers on a West Coast trip, one that typically has bogged them down. Feels different this year. Beating Van, EDM and SEA looks very doable. LA gonna be a low scoring physical affair. 1-0 would be miraculous there.
Canes are falling apart an its sending me into a death spiral of depression. Most fans won't get real and no one can agree on what we "need". Which is fair because we're failing on D, scoring, and in net. Its just a dumpster fire right now.
So happy to see the Sharks at the bottom. All the hype and hope years back with Thornton and Marleau never delivering – these two had zero playoff gear – as bad as the Sedin twins.

Wonder if all the moaning about the neutral zone trap will start up again in light of the Kings success this season.
Some already commented that but I just see the mid 90's Devils in the Kings, if they are successful this could be an example to follow. We've had five years of well balanced offense/defence hockey, I dread going into another 20 year run of defensive hockey. Bleh, please no.
Too early to start crowning a Cup Champion (either LA or San Jose). That are a lot of teams that have flashed greatness in stretches, but no one has stamped themselves as "best" yet.
