  1. H needs to go. He doesn't have a champions initiative to win…I was right about trading Bo Horvat, keeping Boeser and now trading Kuzmenko. We can get a solid return for his potential. maybe even a first rounder from a top contender.

  2. Kuzy is not young anymore at 27 or something. Should have taken a longer deal in the 1st place with the Canucks.

  3. Lol there's nothing that's going to happen. I'm pretty sure this is all a nothing burger and Kuzy will find his way, the media is SO annoying

  4. 25 4 11 15

he makes 5.5mil and hes got 15 in 25….whats the big deal? thats really not a big deal. give him time.

  5. Kuzy has looked incrementally better should've scored at least one last game but we have to get heavier too many shrimps

  6. Kuz will bump the slump and figure out how to play the right way that is working for every other members of the team. Highest scoring team in the league media is just fear mongering.

  7. He will be fine. Typocal media making something out of nothing. And it's exactly why the team has been coached on how to speak.

  8. This one is fairly simple
Kuzy isn't working out with Tocchet
Kuzy is a proven goal scorer
    Kuzy will still have value
    Van still wants another D
Buffalo likes scoring and needs it
Buffalo have 4 D signed long term and can't afford another medium+ contract
Jokiharju is a RFA they can't afford
    Van would love Jokiharju
    Make it happen

  9. I jokingly told my friend that he would suck because not drinking Pepsi anymore as soon as that story came out and sure enough he does 😂

  10. I feel like this is all media mumbo jumbo. Kuzy will be fine and figure it out. Guy gets chances every game and seems to be second guessing himself. Just need some more time the guy has gone from 1st to fourth line in a quarter of a season.

  11. Petey's your bigger concern when looking at the depth chart. You still haven't found a steady forward line for him to play with at even strength, and yet Kuzy was supposed to be his man to his right and that's not working out, either. You could possibly sign someone in free agency that could potentially help the team to directly address this issue, but you can't because Kuz is getting over $5M a year. And you're saying you also need one or maybe even two more defensemen to flesh out the blueline?

It was a moral victory to get him in free agency, and an even bigger victory when he scored 40 goals last season. But, it's starting to look like the honeymoon is over and now we're seeing a player who isn't fitting at a key time when the Canucks have a tiny window to something special this season.

I think the answer is not easy to hear, but it's simple and effective: trade Kuzy to someone who will overpay for him, especially since he's on pace for over 50 points so someone will bite if the timing's right. Trade him soon, especially if he starts scoring again. That way, you have another option for making moves which can ultimately make this team a true contender.

  12. Asking: Who wanted the 2 yr deal only (short term) Kuzmenko or the Canucks? 2) Where the Canucks willing to pay him 5.5milion for 4 or 5 or 6 yrs? (long term) and he said no thanks?
