Hawks need to protect this kid like the Oilers protected Gretzky. The Oilers established nightly that Gretzky was off limits and would be protected at all costs. The Hawks are not competitive without Bedard, barely competitive with him, how can they not take it to the limit to keep him from getting hurt?

I was at this game, even though I'm a jets fan i have to say Bedard's shot is amazing, will be fun to see his career evolve over the next few years, he's one hell of a player
