Islanders fan will adamantly boo Tavares if he gets those 2 points
Considering Tavares is somewhat still getting booed in Islanders arena when they play the Leafs I can imagine the HATRED he would get if he pulls off the two points and U know the Leafs are going to be feeding him tonight to try to do it. Lets just hope his 1000 point isnt off something dumb like a eng or shootout goal.
As a Hawks fan I’m surprised we waived him. He wasn’t doing anything points wise but he plays so physical. I guess with the amount of young talent behind him who have a higher floor/ceiling it makes sense

The Vrana situation is just so disappointing. When STL picked him up last season it was like he refocused and became the player everyone hoped he would be and knew he could. He takes about how accommodating STL had been, the stadium announcer going out of his way to ask how he wanted his name pronounced and doing it correctly. It was just a real feel good story. Not sure what happens in the offseason but now he’s the guy Detroit was desperate to get rid of again. Just no work ethic whatsoever.
When JT reaches 1000 points tonight, I'm sure NYI fans will be very nice to him. 🐍

Joseph deserved a penalty for getting his glove into Larkin's head area, but Kelly didn't deserve a penalty for Larkin leaning his head low into him as he was making contact. It was bad luck for Larson that he got knocked out and I hope he is back playing soon. Perron lost his mind and went after innocent Zub who recently returned from a concussion. Nobody's talking about Zub's past concussion, only Larkin's. Cheers

Gudbranson 100% deserves a suspension but Cousins not even getting a phone call is a joke and a half.
Gudbranson should be suspended, but I honestly can't blame him for going after Cousins like that. Cousins got a no call on that boarding and that should have been a 5 minute penalty at the least.

Curious as to why there has been no video on the Kings record-setting road record to start a season. Another team had a record-setting home record to start a season last year and had a video done on it. Was this not as worthy?
