Les Flyers de Philadelphie ont battu les Rangers de New York lors du deuxième match de leur série aller-retour. Ils continuent d’impressionner les fans et la ligue. En première période, les Flyers ont marqué trois buts sur les unités spéciales. Les deux premiers viendront en avantage numérique par Matt Niskanen et Sean Couturier. Couturier était douteux avant le match contre la grippe. Le troisième but est venu de Michael Raffl après que Derek Grant ait fait une belle passe en désavantage numérique. Carter Hart a été un facteur majeur et a contribué à ce que les Flyers maintiennent une avance de trois buts avant le premier entracte. Il a arrêté Kaapo Kakko et Mika Zibanejad sur de grosses occasions de marquer. Pour commencer la deuxième période, Grant a marqué son premier but depuis la date limite des échanges pour donner à Philadelphie une avance de quatre buts. Les Rangers sont entrés sur le tableau avec leur propre but en avantage numérique, mais ce moment était révélateur pour moi. The fact that the Flyers have a shot at the division amazes me. This is one of the best Flyers teams I’ve ever seen.
This team is legitimately good. They haven't just been on a hot streak. They've proven to be a great overall team that can run four lines on you and respond to adversity. They are definitely a squad that teams are not going to want to play in the playoffs.

I was at the game today. Awesome. We came out so strong the Ranger fans were dead silent until they scored the two PP goals. Hart played great. Two of the goals that were scored against him were great plays that any goalie would let in. I met Brian Boucher today which made my day. He’s such a nice guy who insisted on giving me an autograph and picture

I agree. I love this team and their identity. So many favorites. Theres not a player I wouldn't have something good to say. Hayes is great. Grants play was something special. Proud of these guys. Amazing job Fletcher.

With Laughton’s broken hand earlier in the season. If he has any type of wrap or protection on his hand he can’t drop the gloves because it’s an automatic 5 minute major intent to injure and a Game Misconduct plus probably a follow up from player safety with a suspension and a fine.
The Flyers are so close to lead the division, the game Wednesday against the Capitals is a big game for the Flyers, and Kevin Hayes visiting his former team and stadium along with A.V., the Flyers are one of the NHL's best teams, a couple power play goals and the Rangers did get a surge but the Flyers held on to a 6 game win streak and are still in 2nd place in the Metro Division.

The Rangers were diving and flopping all over the ice on Sunday and the officials were taking it hook line and sinker. If they had called The Rangers for unsportsman-like conduct that third period would have looked completely different. Trash hockey.

I feel bad for Ron Hextall. He built this team and scooped us out of the basement. Never forget Ron Hextall.
It has to be Coots or Konecny. Konecny has been an absolute steal and driver of our offense. Obviously Hart is huge. A legitimate goaltender changes everything for us. Again I would like to point out the biggest reason for this turn around is Ron Hextall. He took our trash heap franchise and stocked the cupboards so full of riches that Fletcher and our perennial big series loser coach walked into a perfect situation. Anything they do is going to look great. Hextalls draft picks are all maturing and Hart has given our team the ability to compete with anyone.
