Remember last year when Larkin Cross checked oshie in the face, then got 5 and game, then the very next game Lindgren from ny did the exact same play to ras. He got 2 minutes. I have zero faith in Toronto on any red flag calls and getting them not only right, but also consistent

In my opinion, this teams performance has come down to coach utilization. On paper, this is a playoff team but when you watch them on the ice, it's atrocious. Passes are too heavy, drop passes to no one, dump ins when there's no one there to forecheck. This team has a chemistry issue which is wild to me considering most of these players has played with each other in their careers. The fact the you have Kane starting out on defense on the powerplay is a big WTF knowing full well that he's not going to take the body and it's literally the reason why we had 2 shorties against us against San Jose. Not to mention last night when we were down in the 3rd against Dallas, the team played hard and fast and was the best I've seen them play in the past few games and they were an absolute threat til Ras took ANOTHER bad penalty. I'm 100% convinced that it's coach utilization and the conservative mindset the coaching staff is implementing. We all seen what this team can do when the are giving the green light to play fast.
