Rangers are in a solid little slump (still playing .500 hockey WOOOO), and they're gonna sort all this out, especially Igor. He's fighting it, but this happened a bit last year, and ho boy, he was angry Igor.

I’m just going to say this. This was a score that I would expect, BUT in reverse, as a Sharks fan, I’m glad that Jonesy got a dub in his first start as a Leaf. But as it’s the definitive opinion that Shesterkin is the number one goalie of the Rangers who is also a Vezina winner, this was a performance that should have been better by Shesterkin, and for the life of me, this is probably the second game I’ve seen where the goalie just gets left out to dry, the other was between the Lightning and Canes and the Canes let in 8 goals on 15 shots. Some games just need to staunch the bleeding and more often than not nothing happens
as much as i love seeing the meltdown videos seeing steve happy from time to time makes me happy

First start win of the season but he was the goalie of record when Woll got hurt and left the game.
Note: The Leafs actually had 2 goals on 3 shots as the 1st "shot" was later taken off because it was actually the Rangers passing it in front of their own net and deflecting it off their own guy onto the net… when it happened and I saw the shot clock tick up I thought "wait, that counts as a Leafs shot? What?!" It was later removed so it was 2 goals on 3 shots despite what the shot clock said at the time. Not good for Igor.
I love that Steve does this while sitting on a ball.
