At this point it’s basically impossible for this team to make the playoffs even with games in hand – we would need to go on a 8 game winning streak to get back in the mix at minimum, if they can’t do that we aren’t going to get even close. At which point yeah, it’d be better to tank and get Macklin…. Like we need something to improve here, go for Macklin and sell the farm the next few years to really push

This team had one of the best Power Plays in the league last season and it's the same group; a good PP is a reasonable expectation. And the PK? Can't have a bottom-5 PK and expect to make the playoffs. Get the PP into the Top-10 and the PK into the top half.
