  1. Wow!!! many Montreal haters here. Are you all blind or on drugs for peak sake? Both landed two punches each and they both turtle up and felt . No one won anything here. After they both felt, Deslauriers talks to Wi-Fi to thank him for the fight. Typically a draw here….Final.

You want proof of what a real loser look like? See Milan Lucic a ex-bruins forward starting a fight with Colton Orr and then ask the referee to stop the fight and also running away from Laraque at a Montreal game. A true yellow…

  2. IMO, This is Xhekaj’s only loss since he’s in the show. Respectable one as well, so he’s going to be an alpha dog in this league for years to come….

  3. I had to laugh at the Philly announcer saying that Deslauriers might have landed a right at the end of the fight but never mentioned the right Xhekaj landed just before the ND punch which momentarily buckled Deslauriers's knees! I would call it a draw!
But here's the thing, Xhekaj hit the Philly player with a clean legal check and immediately Deslauriers drops his gloves and Xhekaj has no choice but to do the same! And the refs did not call the obvious instigator penalty! The question is why not? The rule is there and this situation was the exact reason the rule was put into the rule book! If Xhekaj had done the EXACT same thing and forced the fight on to Deslauriers, Xhekaj would have gotten the extra two! You could count on it!
Bias in the NHL officiating is not uncommon!
    Right, Tim Peel?

    my OPINION without prejudice 🦂🦂

  4. Xhekaj said in an interview players like Deslauriers (and he montioned others) inspired his kind of play so i guess he was king of honored to fight against him even if he lost that fight

  5. The problem here is not that Arber Xhekaj lose the fight, it's that he pooped in his panties

  6. Deslauriers wasn’t a gentleman.. he jumped Arber, got the gloves off and got the advantage well before Arber had the gloves off. Sure he waited for Arber to take his gloves off before punching but he also knew Arber would be tough so he tried to get the advantage, not fair and not respectable.

  7. Habs really need to get of small forwards. Look Gallagher in that play, completely owned.

  8. Arber was on a realllllly long shift here. He needs to pick and choose his timing a bit better . Young chap did great though.

  9. Deslaurier used to be kinda tough but hes in his 10th season and only 6'1" not very big and hes only won half his fights.
