  1. In my opinion that was the best and the most exciting Stanley Cup Final series since Flames vs Canadiens in 1989! 🏆 It still hurts because the Flames should have won that Cup, every one of the team battling so hard with the heart on their sleeve! I love that 03-04 Flames team (and as Finnish 🇫🇮) we had Miikka "Kipper" Kiprusoff, Toni Lydman, Ville "Nemo" Nieminen and as a European I like that team enforcer was Krzysztof Oliwa "The Polish Hammer" 🇵🇱🔨 who had an amazing season as well and he led the league with 33 fighting majors! That season and playoff series was a Last Hurrah to the Old Time Hockey! 💪

  2. The main TV angle is deceiving. When I saw the overhead. I could tell the puck never fully crossed the line. Khabibulin JUST BARELY kept it out. I can understand why Calgary fans feel robbed, and hell, if they had ruled it a goal I could see the other way, but when I look at that overhead, IMO, that was not a goal.

  3. Look, I can see white from ice between the crossbar and the goal line from that angle too, that doesn't mean the crossbar is past the goal line. The puck is in the air, so it looks like its in from that angle because you can see white between it and the goal line, but that's because its airborne.

  4. I am surprised they didn't burn down the Saddledome or something. If this happened in Montreal there would have been a riot like the Maurice Richard one.

  5. No goal. There was even a video released about this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QSG8mzwwOs8

It appears to be over the line because of the camera angle. This phenomenon is known as parallax. But I guess we can't expect people to acknowledge something this complex, when instead they can exclaim "OH MY GOD WE GOT ROBBED OF THE STANLEY CUP!!!!!!1"

  6. the “kicking motion” rule is absolute bullshit, he was tryna stop so he didn’t hit the goalie, another example is game 5 round 2 in 2022 when coleman got pushed by a player, tried to stop and they called it no goal because of the “kicking” motion 🤦‍♂️

  7. Game seven has more analysis of it and everyone agreed no goal because unable to determine if crossed the line. Also, he kicked it anyway.

  8. Y’all had your chance in both OT’s and in game 7 and you blew it. I don’t wanna hear it.

  9. He clearly had a kicking motion way do flames fans keep whining and crying over it

  10. In a parallel universe out there somewhere this is a goal and the Flames are 2004 cup champs along with the Oilers winning it in 2006 to make it back to back years for Alberta
