  1. Good game. Definitely loving the McDavid line, I’ve always thought Hyman and RNH had great chemistry together but adding McDavid is the icing on the cake!!! Kris looking for some chemistry and shuffling line combos with the rest of the group tonight was a good idea.

  2. On November 12th, this team was 3-9-1 and 9 points out of a playoff spot. 1 month later, this team is above 500 and 1 point out of a playoff spot. It’s such a relief that a season that appeared to be over is now anything but over.

    Play La Bamba Baby!

  3. I wanna see draisaitl playing with gagner and fogle or mcleod I feel like anyone should be up for second line, cause right now, it’s the time to try things and find magic

  4. I still think Edmonton needs to make a trade. 3 way deal. Campbell Broberg and Mcload to Chicago and get who ever they need to help the team in return. Not only that but cap space as welll

  5. I feel Kane – Drai – Foegele would be a decent line. I hope Holloway can come back and gets a shot on Drais wing as well. He needs some top 6 time.

  6. Another win and team headed in the right direction. Bedard goal was incredible. Happier vids Patrick

  7. Great win. Actually, it was Bouchard that Bedard walked around on his goal before Ekholm came in from the opposite side to pressure Bedard. Gotta say that kid has an unreal shot!

  8. Long post follows with base game statistics including some for the Chicago Blackhawks. Read, don't read, up to you. These are BASE stats not detailed ones provided to give a foundation (takes 3 sites to do it). My comments and observations at the end.

Bedard gets the first goal, quick shot over Skinner's left shoulder. It takes the Oilers just over 6 minutes to respond. Bouch feeds Nuge to McDavid back to Nuge and and bam it's in. Nine minutes later we get DEPTH SCORING. Ryan to Gagner and in. BTW Gagner played the LEAST amount of minutes had the highest +/- in the game and was 3rd star (and the only one of the 3 stars with a goal). Second period only goal by Leon on a feed from Gagner to Ceci with a deflection off of Zaitsev's stick. Pure luck goal but hey, we'll take it. Final goal of the game, only goal in the 3rd a PP Goal by the Oilers Bouch to Connor to Hyman up front and boom, 4-1.

I couldn't watch the game (medical realty strikes again) but caught the highlights. If you look strictly at the base stats Chicago hit a lot more (nearly double), blocked double the shots, had a lot more takeaways and were close in faceoffs (Oilers won 28, Chicago 24), Oilers even had 50% more Giveaways. On paper just by numbers other than the Oilers having 29 shots and Chicago 23 you'd think this should have been a lot closer than it was but it wasn't. Numbers are great but numbers can lie too. Just another example of that. Oh but numbers can tell the truth too, PK at 100% again for the Oilers and PP at 50%. Not bad. Skinner had a good night once he woke up after the Bedard goal. Take care all.

  9. Best case scenario both Conor’s impressed! The talk about his shot is certainly justified quick and accurate but not the game McDavid has, McJesus can take over the game and dominate you really notice his size difference hopefully Bedard can stay healthy because when he does touch the puck good things happen! My wife thought there’s was a kid playing for Chicago 😂😂!

  10. Whatever they are doing keep doing it I gave up on them earlier but I guess I’m just wrong and stand corrected
