Brutal loss.
You know, I can deal with my team losing, but getting destroyed over and over when they do lose… it's a lot.
Some of the other stats show that there is a factor of the overall D being stronger without Igor than with him (not unlike what we would see with Hank games vs. Raanta games or Hank games vs. Talbot games some years), so he does have to deal with some pretty easy scoring chances that are going to be hard for him to do anything about. But none of that can explain away how creaky Igor has looked since coming back from that injury. His positioning is unfortunate, his control of rebounds is bad, and he's a little slow moving around the crease. Part of me says shut him down for a while and let him get to 100%, but then you worry about messing with his confidence, which has to already be in a bad place. I don't have the answer.
The choice is simple. Make it Quick.
I think some conversations need to be had about moving some players .
I couldn't agree more. Something is wrong With Igor. The defense in that game wasn't "up to par", but there's no excuse to give up all that many goals when # 31 is in the net.
I notice Igor played his best year before signing his big contract. This makes sense, in a way, he was hungry for the money, so his play reflected it. But, now, he's still awesome, just not as good. This might be his first real struggle at the the NHL level. Hopefully, he will work through it.

I don't think it's a physical issue, unless he's hiding an injury which I highly doubt. So then it's got to be a mental issue, which could be a few reasons but I have no idea what it could be. The defense has gotten worse as the season has progressed which is a major issue. There is not enough defensive minded, defensemen on the active roster. Some big red flag atm, hopefully they'll work out these new problems soon. Otherwise I do think we'll see some players getting moved.
To me it looked like Shisty missed 2 or 3 easy saves . His timing was off, he was out of position, and he just looked too slow.
Igor looks terrible. He’s not standing up or looking confident. It’s getting worrisome now.
I have been saying this for awhile Igor looks a lot different from his vezina trophy winning season even then if you where being real with yourself you would notice how Igor would give up a easy goal
Igor looked lost and unprepared.
QUICK should have started and friday they should have Igor in there.Pete you got out coached and when it was 4-1should have called a time out and pulled Igor.This is a team that played 3 out of 4 days with Martin Jones in the net and played back to back games.These are the games you need to win to really run deep in the playoffs.I hope Dolan ain’t interfering with Pete and his decision making.Pete Lavelleti is doing a great job but last nite was not even good.Back to Igor like I said yesterday don’t think he’s 100% also his confidence needs to get a kick start.

Igor has gotten worse, especially since losing 4/5 to Devils last year.
Not sure what to do, but can’t keep playing him right now.
Don't blame that one on Shesterkin. Rangers defense was brutal, 2 of the goals were basically a 1 on 4, and another was letting someone stand in front untouched.
