Brayden Schenn et Jordan Binnington réagissent à la nouvelle selon laquelle Craig Berube a été relevé de ses fonctions et Drew Bannister a été nommé entraîneur-chef par intérim des Blues de St. Louis.
Only bright side about Army’s recent signings is Buch and Thomas. Thomas is clearly an elite player. Only point per game player on a subpar team with a terrible power play. I can say as of now, he’s worth the money. Kyrou on the other hand.. no. Even though he has talent. And of course that krug signing was terrible and way over priced and a knee jerk reaction to replace Petro, even though it didn’t make sense because Krug is a completely different type of defenseman(offensive minded). Oh and not protecting Dunn and letting him walk during the expansion draft? Another mistake. I can keep going. This is not on Chief. And the city of St. Louis knows this and will always be thankful for what you have done
this is all armstrong's fault….again! pussy players got big contracts ready to retire…even the young guys….i'm a blues fan-this roster makes no sense-frustrating-at least chief will have a good christmas not having to worrying about this group of underachievers….dark days ahead for the 'BLEWS'…
Did Army really go to the players and say "This is your fault?" If so, this arrogant ass has to go. I'm already on getting Army out, but to say that shit is ridiculous. This is Armys fault 100%. He built this team. He should be fired.
So NOW is the time to "pull the rope in the right direction and dig in and buy in as a group?" Mmmkay. Figured we should have put that foot forward a long time ago🤷♂️
if ima be real this is all army’s fault he made the team and if he is blaming this in the players he should be the one going and he has to be the dumbest gm out there we didn’t sign back perron he also said that he was going to make big signings during free agency. He didn’t sign any one big and he has been trading people like it’s a nhl 24 franchise mode we went from a playoff contending team to worst team in the nhl
This is all Armstrongs fault. We could have Petro, Walman, Parayko, and Dunn but no, he goes in on Faulk and Krug. We could still have Perron but no, for some reason we needed Hayes, Kapanen and Vrana. Armstrong pulled the spine out of this team and then fired Berube because there's no chemistry. Petro, Perron, Dunn, O'Reilly, they could all be .50 PPG this season on the Blues and they would have a better win % than whatever this camel looking team is in STL. Fuck. We could have signed Tkachuk a couple seasons ago but no, we like being a do nothing boring hockey team apparently.
ARMCLOWN AND HIS POOR ROSTER .. THE CLOWN CANT BUILD A TEAM AND SHILLMAN IS JUST A INVESTOR .. BLUES ARE JUST AN INVESTMENT FOR PROFIT ONLY THEY COULD CARE LESS ABOUT WINNING EXCEPT THAT PROFIT MONEY
Army said in his press conference that he FEELS responsible. But there is a vast difference between FEELING responsible and TAKING responsibility. No, he opted to be a coward and throw Berube under the bus as a stall tactic from getting fired. The team Berube had is not the same as the Cup team. Can anyone honestly say that Army has replaced the caliber of players such as Vladi, ROR, Pietro, Barby, Dunn, Schwartz, and even Maroon (he had a part to play – he was integral to their success doing what he did)? It's easy for Army to give Berube a bag of crap (overpaid underperformers locked into no-trade long-term contracts) and then say: "It's your fault you cannot make a gourmet meal out of a bag of crap." What a coward! Total CYA (Coward, Yes Army)! There are enough failing teams that will jump at the chance to get Berube and Army knows it. But that does not justify his failing to take responsibility. I'm sorry but if Stillman does not see the reality, he is an idiot and I hope he enjoys the Army Kool-Aid. If Army is unwilling to take responsbility, Stillman needs to take action and do what's been long overdue and dismiss Army. He has to see that this team is not a Cup contender b/c of Army's bad moves. Thomas has stepped up but Kyrou is lost in space. Did they really bring in Hayes to score more goals than Kyrou? EVERYONE on this team is underperforming. Maybe a new coach will help but I don't think there's the type of chemistry or skill set currently on this team to win a Cup. It makes me angry and sad. Stillman – do you read these posts? It's not an easy decision to let Army go, I know, but I wish you luck. OB1 Stillman, you're our only hope.
This is the best thing for Berube. Now he can to a team that is close to winning it all. No reason to keep him around for a rebuild. He led the cup run masterfully. Thanks Chief 😊

The wrong guy got fired.
They have to do something. They lost four in a row and haven't looked good in awhile.
Now the team is upset. Atta boy army
Kevin Hayes is a noisy dude
Army is a idiot

Best response and only class act was Binner

Eff schenn he should never have been team captain he sucks and has zero leadership skills take the c away from him he didn't not does he deserve it
Wonder if Binnington was referencing Vrana when he was talking about the attitude towards the team
Doug armstrong should've been fired, not berube. What an asshole guy and shitty gm.

Why is Schenn smirking.
Fire Armstrong
Kyrou is a coach killer.
I like to think St. Louis hockey fans value loyalty, I don’t think Armstrong’s values are in sync with the community. He needs to go.
I’m pretty sure schenner also had Berube as a coach in Philly

FIRE ARMY
Time to release that Armstrong guy yes won a cup but ummm that s about it. Time for him to go Owners
That’s a sweet STL Blues Warriors hat that Binner is wearing.

Berube is a saint. Get rid of Armstrong, he built a team with no chemistry.
They are told to speak that generic speech to the media, but you can see it in their eyes Berube shouldn't have been let go.
