Would like to see Ristolainen in the Leafs if he could get back to his Buffalo form. The buffalo he played in was not great but he played quite well back then. He has not been the same after going to philly
Can't see Sanheim getting traded. Flyers are currently in a playoffs spot and they will continue to push for that wild card spot. Would be hard for the Leafs to get Sanheim with that 6.2 cap hit.
If Toronto wants Ristolainen I'll drive him to the GTA myself.

Willie Styles with 2.9m retained to the Islanders for Noah Dobson. The Leafs get a potential top line right shot d-man, whose only 23, 6'4 and and locked up for next year at 4m.
The Islanders get that scoring punch they desperately need at 4m this year, who is a legit top line right wing 40g guy who actually shows up in the playoffs each year when the games matter most.
Could be a win win for both sides. Toronto would love to keep and resign Willie but their money would be better spent on d. And The Islanders could afford Willie next year with the cap going up, and they could really use a 40+ goal guy, who could be a game changer for them like he is here in T.O
don't see philly making this trade. on comparison with the leafs. they beat them in these categories; they play more consistently and have fewer GA than the leafs. why rock the boat?
What do the leafs have to offer a team in rebuild? Their first round picks are basically a second rounder. Id be completely shocked if the Flyers did anything with the Leafs. Flyers have a young roster and are starting to play well, and have cap space,there is no need for them to fire sale anything.

I did see Seeler more when he was playing in Wild. His game has progress since and he is playing his best hockey atm. Would be great fit for Leafs for sure. Walker is playing best season too and has good caphit. I been happy to see Belpedio finally getting some NHL games (been scatched lately tho). Ristolainen contract is bad for contender team, too long and too big caphit.
Sanheim isn't going anywhere. Period.
