Igor has some problems to workout, however, the defense really needs some serious work too. The defense playing as bad as it has been. Hasn't really helped Igor get over whatever he's been going through. Rangers need another defensive minded defender to help this current team.

That being said, it’s been a real sh!t show with him in the net lately.
Hopefully he’s able to work through his issues in a reasonable amount of time. We need him in top form.
The defense needs to step up their game and help the poor guy out too.
nothing is wrong with igor. it is absolutely appalling how horrible the rangers play with him in net, if you think differently its because you know nothing of goaltending. there is a significant luck factor with the position, and absolutely nothing is going his way on things thats out of his control. if he was absolutely at his peak playing the best hockey he ever has he probably only gets back 4 of the 15 he has given up in the past three games.
I’m going to be honest I don’t think Igor is as good as he was I think this is not him either but something in between which is good enough but not elite like we thought
If this happens during the playoffs I’m going with Quick any day.

I think it’s just a confidence issue that compounds when the defense plays so loosely while he’s in net. On top of that seeing a new backup come in and play absolutely lights out while he gets hung out to dry definitely doesn’t help his confidence either
I think he'll bounce back , I think they should pull him instead of letting him get shelled for 6 . Lean on Quick my gut says Igor will be fine , how he handles adversity Like this will determine if he's gonna be prince Igor or just igor.
Finally got everything else going, and he is lost.
A few random thoughts I've been having about Shisty lately:
The best athletes in any sport go through slumps, but they almost always get back in their groove. (I'm too lazy to look up stats on other goalies who have gone through similar slumps) It's a long season, and I think there is still plenty of time to right the ship. I'm concerned over his performance, but not worried. Not yet.
Quickie plays better he should be playing more often.
the Rangers' defense shows up for quick and sleeps for Igor. Igor probably has a bit of a confidence issue and it's partly due to being hung out to dry night after night. The defense needs to step up and help him out.
Granted the defense in front of him has not been good either.
Watch the sharks game from last week. The rangers played like shit in front of Quick. Quick allowed 5 goals. It's the only game that they really played the same way they have for Igor (too many odd man rushes, bad puck watching, etc).
This just goes to show… when the rangers decide to take shifts off, you could have prime Dominick Hasek in net and it wouldn't matter… the puck is going in.
they need to pull a mighty ducks 2 and dress Igor in quick's equipment to trick the team into thinking they're playing in front of quick. that'll fix igor's play in a hurry, the team actually supporting Igor.
Rangers defensive play in front of him has been Swiss cheese.

Nothing is wrong with him, you guys are the issue! You guys overrated him as being one of the best goalies ever in 1 year of play and now you guys are shocked he’s playing bad 😂 this is what happens when ranger fans dick ride every goalie they have as gods
