13:55 the name you're looking for is Ilya Bryzgalov. He sounds like a guy who's lost 100% of his confidence and would just as soon stay off the schedule as stay on it. As a professional hockey critic or as somebody who spent money to go to games I can understand the booing, but as a gentle reminder he's on your team, you should cheer for him.
The only unpredictable part of this was the last goal. When the Leafs scored at the beginning of the 3rd, I was half expecting the Jackets to lose in regulation. That's how awful they've played in thirds this year.
Protecting Sammy from the media could be a very smart idea.
We don't need to be a genius to understand there is more idiots in the world than there is Geniuses ! So bragging about having the biggest fan base in hockey because you have the most populate region in the Dominion of Canada i.e. (Greater Toronto Area). Honestly, if the Leafs HAD won that game, I think it might have been worse psychologically for Samsonov going forward. They had a bad game and deserved the loss (which was basically predicted at the end of Tuesdays game). A win like THAT, while momentarily uplifting could easily make them complacent. I mean, even more so than now…

Was at my first game in 10 years, what a game to be at. The leafiest leaf game ever. Play like dog$h!t for 40mins, play ridiculous hockey for 20 mins, get your hopes up high, then crush you again 😂

Good comeback by the Leafs for one point. Leafs defense is just terrible, they could of been down by more than five after the first two periods ended.

Just bought my Dad tickets for the game against Dallas Feb 7th for Christmas, it will be the first game we have gone to in 10 years and we will be moving out of Ontario in the spring, the only reason we can go is thanks to a lovely family selling a pair of their season tickets to me for face price (thank you so much!!), im praying they play well so he can have a great memory. Going to these games means so much to people, fans have every right to boo whenever they want.

I watched the first period and then part of the second period and gave up after goal 4. So of course they come back with 5 goals in the 3rd and I missed any part of the game that would actually be enjoyable in any way.
in fairness Steve, I watch because i have fun watching your reactions win or lose.
losing just tends to be way funnier. it's like a correlating graph with how humiliating the loss is.

My question is why did they play like a completely different team in the 3rd, were they just rope-a-doping leading up to it for funzies? Was it an intentional 2-period slump related to sports betting?
If it makes you feel any better, I usually come for the victory puppies but also enjoy the freak outs.
