What is a #1 goalie? A guy with good stats? All the goalies with good stats have a good defensive team. Once in a while a goalie will make miracles, but to be consistent you need a good defensive team in front of you, like Boston. The Sens are a bad defensive team and even with Jacques Plante (ouf) they would lose their games.

5 goals is Forsy’s fault, Pillzy. Come on. F, I wish I was a goalie because letting in goals would never be my fault. I spoke to a retired pro goalie who said “the only reason I was there was for when there is a breakdown, breakaway, or a shot… I have to stop it”
DJ could have pulled Forsy, but that would mean he’d have to put Korpi in, which is no better.
Honestly if Korpisalo was in net we probably would have won this game Forsberg was letting in some weak goals that can't happen
That PPG goal was brutal. The puck is moved from low to net front by Hintz? …and the penalty killers looked completely lost. They were all in a line on one side of the ice…so Pavelski has an easy tap in. Pure beer league stuff.
The bottom line : This team has not improved this year . Changes NEED to be made.

Just managed to watch the last two games. Christ fellas, how much longer are we expected to put up with the same shite? It’s 6 and a half years.

The turnovers were low, and there were not that many defensive breakdowns. Yes there is always improvement to be had, but I think the Forsy had a bad game and it cost them. In addition the specialty teams need serious improvement.

Same thing since DJ era, they have a bad start.. then after Christmas they are so deep in a hole that they have to climb back in the rankings and lose big games when they are close again to the playoff spot. Sure they never really had a team to contend for playoffs but this season, they are a capped team and the core is growing into a losing culture.
They need emotion behind the bench, DJ was okay during the " rebuild process " but if they keep things like that, they will grow a losing culture.
I watch quite a lot of other teams play as well lads and I can honestly tell you: we are the worst team in the entire league. We’re a joke.
Timmy, Sandy, Brady. The rest can all be sent packing as far as I’m concerned.
And the coaching? How in the name of all that’s holy is a coach this terrible, over such a long period of time, STILL IN CHARGE OF OUR TEAM?!

He’s approaching the best years of his career and he’s on the worst team in the NHL. STILL.
