Oilers d’Edmonton : PAS ENCORE…

  1. This is what would of happened last season if for some reason Edmonton miraculously made the Stanley cup finals against Florida, the east would ate them alive. Be thankful Colorado and Vegas represent that trash conference so well these past years, because its first and second round teams are not playoff worthy.

  2. Genuinely, when did the oilers get 39 shots? It felt like the panthers had 39 shots but definitely not the oilers.

  3. Giving up five to a team that got shut out twice in a row is a bad look.

Tip the cap to Verhaeghe for his two goals, I guess. He's an elite player, but the rest of them other than Tkachuk are a bunch of Foegeles.

  4. This moron gm needs to upgrade D and get a real #1 goalie! Wtf else is there to say OMFG this is the same team! Bottom 6 needs massive upgrade too! They have too many garbage players

  5. Oilers up against another good goalie and the oil probably trying too make the perfect play when they should have kept it simple. Oilers had their chances but Panthers played them perfectly

  6. Being an Oiler would be tough. Win 8 games "yeah they're ok" lose 2 " they are shit". Worst fans in the NHL.

  7. Game against Tampa was worse. We had that game wrapped up in the second period. They gave up and played like crap in the third. Lost two points. Tonight's game was a joke from go. Not surprised. … I think their biggest mistake going into this season was coining the phrase, Cup or Bust. It's gonna haunt them.

  8. 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣0-10 in the next 10. Burning brite Deadmonton 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂. Nice D Nice goaltending 🤦‍♂️

  9. Only thing positive was Nurse putting Tkachuk on his ass a couple times. We need 2nd, 3rd and 4th lines to produce some goals. Shooting practice is required by all of them. Drai needs to sharpen his passing skills as well.

  10. Lets be honest it's cause Bob's was Embarrassed by Garland and Joshua so he had to show up today lol ps goaltending and Defemce same old bull they let to many high chances simple

  11. We didn't just fall behind Calgary. We also fell behind Minnesota and Seattle after falling behind St Louis following Thursday's game. This team doesn't know how to play defense. Too many guys left wide open, too many attempts at poke checking and not enough body checking when defending against the rush, there was at least one instance where the defense let the opposing forwards get between them and the goalie which led to a goal. It was rotten. Skinner probably should have come in for the 3rd even if it wouldn't have made much of a difference, but they need a shake-up in the defensive pairings.

  12. In the first period, the Oilers ran like a herd of sheep. ))😝😝 and as usual, a mediocre goalie can't do much about a team's poor defense.

    Leon Draisait ( – 7 )l, Foegele ( – 11 ),Cody Ceci, Janmark = VERY POOR GAME ))😜they are responsible for the loss + Pickard 🤣

Connor Brown ( – 10 ) ZERO goals and only 1 A in 22 games !! he started the season on the first line with McDavid, moved to the second line with Draisaitl, and is now on the third line with Kane. 🤑The Oilers clearly have no idea how to use a useless player.😜

The Oilers need the entire top 6 to score, not just Hyman, and all the players to contribute, not just the top line.😇😇

  13. Long post follows with base game statistics including some for the Florida Panthers. Read, don't read, up to you. These are BASE stats not detailed ones provided to give a foundation (takes 3 sites to do it). My comments and observations at the end.

By the numbers only this should have been a lot closer game. Same # of shots, Oilers hit more and won a lot more faceoffs, Florida got 1/3 on the PP, Oilers 0/2, Oilers with more giveaways, slightly less takeaways and the same number of blocked shots. Again it should have been closer. It wasn't. Bobrovsky was great in net. He's a huge reason for the Florida win. From everything I saw this was a sloppy sloppy game by the Oilers. Almost like they were phoning it in. Pitiful really. I couldn't watch or listen to the game and only caught a few highlights. hope you enjoy the stats. Take care all.

  14. Chuck has not hockey eticate. He takes slap shot 10 feet from goalie then he pyshes goalie out of crease

  15. If this team makes the playoffs ( huge IF ) I guarantee they will do at least one of these mediocre – sloppy – "don't care" efforts in the playoffs because they did it against Vegas last year in game 3. They have not changed or grown in the slightest.

  16. That's 12 goals they've allowed in the last 2 games, hows that goaltender search going? You can't hope to get anywhere when you have nothing but backup goalies.

  17. You know, even if you were to prevail and win it all, you're not going to win every game for f… sakes. Try to relax
