Kines was a good pick up for the leafs in the draft he can hit protect the puck pass and he has a good shot and he has decent speed for a big guy Kines is gonna be a Top 6 forward in the NHL
If you look back to last year the Leafs started off bad and had some injuries on D but the funny thing was they played better D with the (2nd string D core). Same thing is happening this year. An advantage we have over last year is no Justin Holl. He killed his defensive partners confidence. I like Timmins and Liljegren over Holl by a long shot. Martin Jones should not be put on waivers again. We will lose him if we do. The perfect backup goalie. He can definitely hold the fort if need be. At the moment I am not feeling the Leafs play well in front of Samsonov but I also feel Samsonov does not go out on a limb to make the big save. Might be time to get something for him. I feel like he doesn't want to play in Toronto.
I was particularly happy with Tavares v Crosby throughout the game!!
i went to this game and it was as fun as it sounded, they guys like 15 seats next to me were the ones who started the dubas chant and since ethen all i heard was dubas echoing through the whole building, the only problem i had was this was my first game this year and when ur in the building and nothing is happening on the ice it was so quiet ppl started leaving when it was 6 nothing, like leaf fans left and just weird vibes, i always felt like i needed to make a sound but all and all it was a good win for the buds hope pappi gets in next game and feels better by tuesday!!!! GO LEAFS GO
All I got to say is '91, '92, '09, '16 and 2017. During a time when there was more than 6 teams. 🤣
In that 10 game streak how many times did we have to come from a mutli goal deficit from behind to just have a chance. Need trade for consistency on defense and goaltending don't care how well the 3rd string plays you don't rely on him to be consistent.
The Leafs scored 11 goals in 3 periods of hockey. Love it! Also. Dubas never wanted to sign Domi, and he gets three points.
Such mixed emotions. Kyle Dubas seemed to be a good person as well as a good G.M.. I was happy about the way the game was played, especially Kneis, but I'm not happy about the extra pound of flesh taken by the crowd and social platforms. We still don't know how much damage Shanahan is responsible for; Dubas was fired the day after mentioning he wanted to veer from the "core four and screw defense Shanaplan". I've never been fond of kicking people when they are down. I hope SDP people are better than that.

Steve, I know you say your viewing numbers are better when the Leafs lose, but honestly, I prefer watching the LFR when the Leafs win. Just love watching you be excited & giddy. Also probably helps that I've been watching the Leafs since the late 60s (post cup)… I already know how to feel when they lose
