  1. I think everyone is having trouble with how to protect themselves. Secondly, Wideman got hit from behind and thus he only saw the bench and not the ref 8n front of them. He did not feel like it.

  2. The Pens look so lackluster right now. I quit watching the game against the Leafs after they went up 2-0. Seems silly to give up on them at that point right? Nope. You could see that they had no fight in them to turn the momentum. We’ve been like that for a couple years now. When we gain the momentum in a game, we squander it away immediately. When another team has momentum, we have no fight to take it away from them. Ownership needs to do something to light a fire under their asses or we’ll look like this all season.

  3. There is a reason boarding is a penalty, don’t blame the victim for expecting others to follow the rules, the legue needs to get stricter, eject players for this it’s one of the most dangerous plays in hockey. Less hits and physicality is the future, go watch watch football or boxing if you want to watch guys slowly kill themselves for money

  4. Kyrou is from Toronto, if he was a Leaf he would never handle the pressure and the Toronto media. Not all Ontario-Toronto boys can be a good fit for the Leafs.

  5. Chris tanev getting hit 15 seconds into the game and has missed 2 games so far is sad bro and the person who hit him didn’t even get a penalty, instead kadri got a penalty for roughing because he pushed e goalie after the goalie pushed him

  6. no idea why people had the penguins making the playoffs. all they did was lose depth and trade for an old guy who gets paid over 10 mil lol smart move

  7. 6:01 As you were admonishing the Oilers 'tender, I thought I saw something and rewound it numerous times.

(Please understand I was out of the Country this week and your video happened to be the first, I watched, since returning.)

That shot appears to have hit a defender's stick and change directions!

It also could have been the glare, of the stick being moved by the defender.

Maybe I'm only saying this, as a former goalie but even if it was a bad goal, Please don't "always blame" the goalie for it, regardless of what someone else says.

Make the choice for yourself and you will be on the right track, more often than not.

Goalie, commentator, youtube content creator. Nobody is infallible.

    Except for Mr. Bettman!

    He's never wrong 🙂

    Cheers from Canada

  8. How can you consider yourself a man if you cry for positive attention like a baby? I've got nothing but negative attention for 40 years, I never cried once, lol. The softness is just mad, I do not get where that comes from.

  9. Every hit you showed, you would have saw the stop sign that they put on amateur hockey jerseys in Canada. Something is seriously wrong with players seeing these hits as ok. The Enforcer era would have been fun too watch with these types of hits. A lot of blood on the ice for sure!

  10. The STL Fan 180 is driven by the perceived Kyrou 180.
Fans really have cheers and boos as the sole communication with players 99.9% of the time, and so they use it.

Unhappy with a players statement? They boo. Player shows contrition? They go back to cheering.
Player perceived to play like a dog's dinner? They boo. Have your self a slam bang night? They cheer again.

    Parasocial relationships be weird yo.

  11. When I played, the hit from behind thing was to never allow yourself to be hit from behind. Now the players don't protect themselves, they rely on referees to do it, good luck with that.
The game is not as good, interesting or entertainment friendly as it was in the 80's.

  12. the officiating has to be better if the NHL wants to be taken seriously. as a fan it's frustrating to watch games and see obvious missed calls and then having it ruin the whole game. look at the NBA, they suspended Daymond Green and he's a personality.

  13. Malkin despite the Penguins completely falling off has had a tremendous career
LOVE his anger and his fury in frustration
