  1. I hate Tampa and I wish it was the case but

    Short answer, no

Longer answer: One game does not dictate a series, Toronto isn’t as good a Colorado but they are pretty good and they beat Tampa 5-0 and Tampa was able to recover. It will be a lot harder in this series because Colorado is god at keeping shots low and to the outside.

  2. Tampa struggled against toronto, a team that cant win a thing 💀💀i think lightning will win game 2, then colorado wins game 3, lightning game 4, and into game 5 and 6 colorado pulls out the dubs and wins.

  3. They are fairly even matched teams both skilled, fast and strong on the puck! Take it to 7 games, whomever team wins, is a win for me…just more exciting hockey to watch.

  4. I don't think Tampa is in trouble yet. I do think it was important for the Avs to get the game 1 victory and besides 5 min or so in the 2nd period I thought they dictated the pace of play.

The Avs have shown this year they can overcome adversity and great goaltending they will put shots on next until the goalie breaks.

Tampa might be in trouble if they lose game 2. The Avs are undefeated on the road in the playoffs and they might end up getting Kadri and cogliano back sooner than expected.

Tampa is a great team though so it's never over until it's over

  5. I think all these games are going to be close. They played twice during the regular season and the first game in Tampa went past OT and into an extended shootout that Colorado won. Colorado also won a close game at home. So the AVS are now 3-0 against Tampa this season. That's scary, because I don't see Tamp going 0-6 between the post season and regular season.

  6. The first time they would be worried is if they end up down 0-3 after game 3. Then you might see some panic, but until that happens, nope.

  7. Tampa is in trouble…until they suddenly, terrifyingly…aren't. COL is a fantastic team and they're certainly capable of winning the Cup. COL looked amazing. Played an amazing game. And nearly lost. COL had better win game 2. They haven't faced adversity during these entire playoffs. I know how the Lightning will respond. We don't know how the Avs will…because they haven't had to. If you think the series is over…you're gonna be in for a rude surprise.

  8. Your absolutely right ..It starts at the top with Joe sakic..He built the team with players that play like him..Its like a bunch of Joe Sakic's out on the Ice🏑

  9. This is Avs 4th time winning game one, if they hope Vassy can steal them a game at roughly 40 shots a game, it's tall order to ask, let alone 4 games. If they don't respond in game 2, then it will be Colorado's 7-0 road record vs Tampa Bay's 7-1 home record going head to head. What i figure, if the altitude plays a roll in opponents game of play, just thinking about it reverse affect, what does it say about players like Makar, MacKinnon and other speedy Av players when they're breathing normal air as visitors? Are they like the energizer bunny? Is that their key to their road record?

  10. I say yes – as great a team TB has been – beating such a speedy, gifted, explosive team like Colorado 4 out of 5 is unlikely – conceivably they might make it interesting but their fate might already be sealed!
