  1. That was probably a trip, but jt miller got called on a weak hook against bedard after he complained about it earlier in the game. So that kinda makes up for it.

  2. Careful Bedard, Sid showed his frustration as an 18 year old, Ken Hitchcock called him a crybaby and it stuck with him his whole career lol

  3. Definitely surprised this wasn't called when I watched it live, even though it was an obvious trip by Petey, but hey I'm not complaining. As a Canucks fan, the refs screw us over more often than not. So to watch other fans be just as furious to the refs as us, I don't blame you. Not our greatest effort even though it's a back to back and we're playing Chicago which we should beat regardless, but rough non call. We'll take the 2 points.

  4. crap arrogant refs, again. Every official on the ice was watching the puck and could see like the rest of us that Bedard was tripped.

  5. To the people who thinks this isn't a penalty because Pettersson played the puck:
    We can CLEARLY see that Pettersson didn't even touch the puck, Bedard actually made a ''pass'' after. Get some better glasses please.

    I'm not even an Hawks fan and I can recognize that, come on.

  6. Not a penalty. Trained ref for minor league systems.

    Supposed offending player removed control of stick before contact resulted in the fall. If anything that is closer to a dive in the books than a trip. Both would go for 2 each, or neither. And the hawks would not want their best shooter in the box in that moment of the game.

  7. Definitely a trip. Not sure it was intentional but that is not required for a tripping penalty to be called.

  8. you say bedard is monotone and then you're no better talking like sing-songy chef john, cringe

  9. Vancouver fan from Vancouver;
    First moment I saw this I thought there should have been a penalty. I'll take the non-call but that should have been a penalty

  10. The canucks r getting an easy sched. 14-3 against non playoff teams.
    Playing teams on second of back to backs. Getting good fortunes, but I question how good they r, when they've been suspect for the last 3 years.

  11. You're not papi anymore? But still this anoying, montone voice. Just hire some one else to narrate…

  12. Canucks fan here, that was def a trip, but Bedard also complained about Miller touching his stick with his stick and got the call. So who gives a crap. OP should be telling the whole story and not just cherry picking his reviews. "Refs suck when they don't call penalties on my fav players. But are off the hook when they make phantom calls because he whined about it." 🙄

  13. That's totally false as it is the best officiating in the hockey world. Hockey is a game of skill, grace and speed. Yes they miss penalties just like you and I missed too many shots on net growing up or else we would be in the NHL…also I might add the WTF seems to be a standard cliche for those unable to think of anything constructive or perhaps original…it really is low brow…get it?

  14. Calls get missed both ways. Yes it's not always called. It's part of the game. The refs don't get the replay like we do.
