  1. That is less of a mjaor compared to the hit against Gudbranson a few days ago. It's still the right call imo, but it shows how awfully bad the decision a few days ago was.

  2. I saw the Av's hit someone harder than that the other day and not even a penalty, what the fuck

  3. Horrible call! Well, the refs making the call I can understand, but keeping the call after being able to review it is horrible. You can see Malinski loses an edge just as he goes into the boards. That causes his head to drop lower, which in turn causes MacDonald's elbow and shoulder to graze Malinski in the head. Malinski doesn't lose his edge, this is a nothing hit that grazes across Malinki's shoulder. Also at 2:26, the commentator to says, "but this…that's a dirty play". NO WAY MacDonald could have meant to do that, or avoided it since Malinski's head dropped from his losing an edge at the last second.

  4. Players getting dumber by the day or what? With all the questionable hits going on lately why not forearm shiver a guy who already boarded himself. 🤦🏽

  5. Around the 42 second mark..Did this announcer just say this as a joke or something? I like mcdermaids game but uhm?

  6. Nah no way that is a major. MacDonald has pretty much already landed the hit when Malinski lost balance. 100% accident and really unfortunate he got hurt. Hope its "just" some stitches and hes good to go.

  7. This kid doing commentary has more insight to the game than some professional commentators.

  8. Not saying this hit looked super aggressive but when you see numbers just go for the stick lift. It's easier from that angle anyways

  10. Watch from 0:50 to 0:53 at .25 speed. MacDonald actually turns his glove and drops his elbow (which isn't high or extended in the first place) and makes every attempt to avoid Malinski's head. This is an unbelievably bogus call against a guy who saw an opponent toepick and put himself in a defenseless position and then had tenths of a second to react. He even gave him a tap after the hit as an apology. Compare this to the video the other day on this channel of Kane hitting Brodin. Kane jumps into Brodin 2 feet from the boards and directly in the back. No call. Some teams just seem to get better officiating than others.

  11. 5 minute major yes, dont think it warranted an ejection, dude caught an edge just before the hit, would have been a relatively clean hit if he hadnt of fell.
