  1. 9:21 the caption says (speaks in foreign language) as he's speaking one of Canada's official language 😂

also the subtitles at 9:09 are wrong

  2. Here in wpg we love Alex too! he grew into a man here with the Manitoba Moose. But induction into the ring of honor? They sure set the bar low in Van city compared to the rest of the league. I mean I've been a wee bit embarrassed that the Jets retired Perennial 20 goal guy Thomas Steen. Good player, better human. But he falls just a bit short of jersey retirement in my books.

  3. i miss the 09-12 run where we were unbeatable, the sedins had 100 point seasons, top of the league, luongo was the goat, i miss those days

  4. For an "unskilled" player who was "too old to be a prospect", he made up for the lack of recognition with passion and determination. I didnt like his mouth and his chirping early on. He matured nicely though, and stood up for any other team member. When Tortorella went to the Calgary dressing room looking to fight the other coach, the first player there to back him up was Burrows. Not that Burrows endorsed his actions, he just knew the coach was in over his head, and he had to do the right thing no matter the odds.

  5. playing in the pros, and losing a game seven, ain't the worst way to make millions. How fortunate his daughter was born the day after. Probably put things into perspective pretty quick.

  6. I remember going to that game I was 8 and didn’t know anything about him and getting a free bobble head and fist bumping him I also remember his son kept trying to get on the ice and skate
