Yeah, his stick didn’t hit the puck after. He was swinging the stick from left to right, so the puck would’ve at least nudged a bit to the right, but instead, it just keeps going straight.

It took the refs a long time to somehow come up with this being a good goal. The trajectory doesn’t make sense for it to have been touched: Habs player’s stick swats at the puck, so touching it would generate more spin, or backwards movement. Doesn’t seem to touch Helle’s stick, or it would slow down rotation, and goes right to Dvorvak.
Either it didn’t touch anyone’s stick, or these refs just witnessed a quantum mechanical anomaly. Astounding.
