Why doesn’t he just sit then and recover? Let Clarke or someone else come up and get a shot. He hasn’t done much of anything in several games.

I hate how the NHL you can basically just say « he has had a physical injury » and that that’s like all the detail required.

It’s definitely something like a groin or hip issue that’s keeping his skating from being what we saw last year. It’s a shame because I agree let him sit and recover and give one of the guys in Utica the promo for a bit.
I guess they feel a 75% Timo is better than a 100% someone else, which I feel is not the case right now.

Well, the way he’s playing now isn’t helping anyone. Not him, not the team. He’s a drag on whatever line he’s on.
If he was at 80 percent OK fine, 80 percent of Timo Meier could be pretty good. He’s not close to 80 percent. He looks like maybe 20 percent of Timo Meier.
Sit and get healthy. There is no benefit to having this rotted shell of Timo Meier out on the ice.
He rushed back for the Sharks game. And that went so well.

It really sucks. People were writing him off like 5 games into the season (lol). He was starting to heat up just before the injury. He comes back after missing 5 games and he’s at square 1 again. Not like he’s not trying either. The past couple of games you see him get in front of the net and battle for the puck against the boards. I like him. I hope he gets over this hump soon.

Y’all downvoted me for calling him out. Simply put he’s been shit. His value so far is about 1/4 of what we’re paying him.
If he’s injured, sit him until he’s healthy. His play hasn’t been good.

Please sit ass until he’s good
He’s basically a net negative on the team right now

If he was still contributing but wasn’t at his « A » game, I could live with that.
But he has literally been a blackhole on offence, plays die on his stick all the time. He brings down any line he has been put on, and Ruff has tried him with everyone. Spare me the « Ruff is not using him correctly » bullshit I’ve seen some people here make. The guy is the highest paid forward on the team. Injuries suck, and I’m still rooting for the guy. But it’s been beyond frustrating at this point watching him play.

God I hate Lindy Ruff. Bingo balling the lines again, taking Colin Miller out for no reason.
Please fuck off already

He was my second pick (20th overall) on my fantasy team this year and it’s come to the point that I’m benching him in favour of almost anyone else on the team. Logically, that means Ruff should bench this guy IRL and let him recover and get someone else a shot in the meantime.

But but but he’s actually doing really good out there, are you even watching the games, you just don’t know hockey. – Timo’s piss poor performance defenders
