Talking about Jack like everyone talked about Sid early in his career. When you're that good, bad teams will take liberties and try to get in your head – if the refs are ignoring potential injuries then you've gotta take it into your own hands and let the other team know that they might get away without a penalty but not without a crosscheck or a slash back. Short term its not good for the devils, but its necessary for a player of that caliber. Wouldn't expect a Ducks fan to understand that though

i’m typically a huge jack fan but what he pulled in this game was so unusual and unnecessary for him. he tried to bait minty into fighting (which he didn’t, good for minty) and just was extremely whiny when it came to asking for calls. i understand that he’s 22 so he gets a bit of a pass for his emotional responses but it’s just not right
There are cross sections of every fan base that are classless. And classy. And intelligent, and also unintelligent. It makes no sense to me to bash other fan bases as if anyones is perfect. It’s impossible to measure the best or worst, yet people need to make proclamations about how great or crappy a group of individuals are.
To paint an entire fan base with one brush, based on the actions of a few, is just wrong.
Let’s just agree on this: hockey is the best sport in the world!
