Been a fan for a decade and a half and I already envisioned it wasnt gonna work out with DJ Smith after the 2021-22 season ended. I'm glad I can take this franchise serious again.
I hope they keep Jacques Martin even next year (unless Jacques doesn't want such an intense full-time role)
He should get the option, though!

This season is over, but having Jacques for even just the rest of the season is a good thing for these players.
Some games have been hard to watch so far this season. Not surprised about the firing of DJ Smith. I'm just hoping the team's performances can improve with Jacques at the helm. Go Sens Go! Watching in the UK.❤

This team is to soft it doesn't matter who is taking over to coach really .The GM that's gone now didn't draft very well plus traded all the top players away .You can't do that then think you'll have a winning team . This is a very young team still the only way to fix it is shake this team up by trading away some of the players for players that really want to play in the NHL.
Thought DJ should've been Fired years ago…right after the infamous "spitting in the plastic Red Solo-Cup" Game. Remember that night? He looked so out-of-place. And he was!

How about we have Jacques serve as head coach for 1-2 years. Alfie can be assistant coach and recieve mentoring from Jacques. Then Alfie can take over as head coach.

I've said some harsh things on Twitter, but at the end of the day, DJ did bring a lot of qualities and so much respect for DJ Smith. I know he cared as much as everyone else, the frustration is just believing in this team and no results, I hope the Sens send a thank you moment for DJ next game.
