Went to this game tonight, pretty much everyone there was chanting "WE WANT FLEURY!!!" hoping they'd end up pulling Gus in favor of our beloved Flower- seemed like it may have happened after being up 3-0 in the 2nd, but alas the Wild fought back and made things interesting, so pulling Gus made little sense at that point. Still disappointed we didn't get to see him in net there maybe one last time, but at least he was there and we got to see him on the side of the bench helmetless. I wore my Fleury jersey to this one, really hoping it's not the last time I get to see this beauty live :,(
I'm really really going to miss this guy when he retires. Someone needs to tell him that hockey needs his personality. I really hope he goes into nhl broadcasting when he finally hangs his skates.. he's too loved to walk away completely.
