  1. I can't believe I'm watching a Canadian channel, a Canadian team and listening to American announcers. Unreal.

  2. The American broadcasters for hockey games have the hockey IQ of a 12 year old Canadian. If you only had audio, you would have no idea what is happening or where on the ice anyone is. 😂 it's unreal how lack luster they are at the job.

  3. Two of the classiest teams in the NHL. What a clean and professional game tonight. Gg to Rangers for the win.

  4. This is the shesty we’ve missed. Glad to see Laffy break his drought. Would love to see him on the first power play unit. He’d be cleaning up.

  5. The lovely thing about listening to Joe and Sam is that they see and appreciate opponents as well.
Sure, they focus on Rangers, it's the team they work for and the fans they comment for, but they never get silly one-eyed – and they can have decently harsh views on "their" players.
The very best in that regard is Butch Goring out on Long Island, he really speaks his mind and takes no prisoners. 🤗

  6. After watching the bruins wild game and this game I can’t believe they let the bruins tv crew on air! Absolute garbage and they sound drunk

  7. I like the leafs chances this year but they're still missing the all-star goaltending to make it all the way.

  8. These losses are all the more satisfying when they take place in Toronto. I don't really dislike the team, it's the fans that I can't stand.

  9. I look over the top of the rim of the cauldron and see Matthews not scoring at this pace in the playoffs. 25 goals in 28 games this regular season… 22 goals in 50 playoff games… 0 goals in the only 2nd round he has played… Matthews is a regular season player.

  10. Leafs are a great team glad to see the rangers get this revenge game. Good game by both teams and great goaltending on both ends. It seems like who ever the rangers play the other teams goaltending really steps up their game. LFGR!!!!

  11. Watched the highlights. First period, none for the leafs. Second ditto, third they wake up a bit. This is a hard team to motivate consistently. Not sure what gets into them or falls out of them. No one except 34 tonight.

  12. This exactly why the Leafs won't win it, again… they don't have a Shesterkin. Pains me as it does to say this, but the Rangers look a good bet.

  13. Mika Zibanejad and the New York Rangers win over John Tavares and the Toronto Maple Leafs, 1000th career points for Tavares 🏒🔵🔴⚪🗽

New York Rangers improve to 22-7-1, while the Toronto Maple Leafs dropped to 16-7-6
