Nous l’avons vu maintes et maintes fois cette année avec l’Avs. De bons jeux suivis de mauvais jeux suivis de bons jeux et ainsi de suite. Mais ne pas pouvoir monter le cadran en cas de besoin contre une équipe que vous devriez faire exploser hors du bâtiment ne laisse aucune excuse. Certaines équipes accepteraient une défaite comme celle-ci et la laisseraient les définir. Espérons que l’Avalanche accepte une telle perte et qu’elle la laisse enrager. Typical Avs. 2 shots 1 goal…. 3 shots 2 goals. Avs play lazy getting back. No creativity. Shot volume high… big deal. Garbage goaltending again…
We need a better goalie. I am so frustrated.
Toews made some razor sharp comments after the game:
“We’ve got some guys who think they’re playing well and I think they’re kidding themselves at this point.”
“It’s frustrating to play out there when you got guys that think they’re playing well and they’re doing things that, you know, you have no idea what play they’re gonna make.”
“When you have 14 guys that are playing in the structure and 6 that aren't it's really tough to win in this league."

I agree with so much of this but, Chicago has beat pretty much all of the top teams this season, Toronto twice. Sloppy play is inexcusable though
Hockey is a game of endurance aka you need energy for 82 games of a regular season . The AVS had a lot of energy during the first 6 games of the season. Am I the only one that cares about endurance. Who is the strength and conditioning coach? Casey Bond needs to be fired as trading Thomas Tatar is not the answer. How about that 2nd line of Wood, Colton, and Durion? They had a combined -6 performance against the Blackhawks. You guys need to focus more on endurance of individual players rather than if Mackinnon deserves to win the Hart Trophy. Wake up Chris and Kyle and start much needed firing people discussions. At the end of the day this AVS team is worse than the Blackhawks.
Honestly I said it earlier in the season something is going on in the locker room. And it sounds like Toews just finally said it.
Band-Maid sound check #17 has to be Dilemma…for obvious reasons. So disappointing. SHEESH!!!
This off season was a bust, the team that was put together just doesn’t “vibe”
If you would have told me at the beginning of the season that LAST years team riddled with injuries was going to be better than this years, I would have laughed and said NO WAY…… Well here we are 😂
One-cup-wonder
As someone that watches alot of puck the Avs I feel are not really that hard to figure out. Your top 6 but especially your top line is best in class. The challenge is when you have a bottom 6 every season that you are not sure what you are getting and you hang it on “they will learn the culture” is not going to cut it. Maybe it will click down the road. With this core they will always be in the mix. They have to start devving their draft picks. If you can not do that everytime you have i juries which they have and will you will depend way too much on your top line. This all said there is an issue here with the effort level of many players on this team. That comment Toews made after the game was very telling.
Was it the worst game of the season? It was certainly the most enraging. It was the kind of pathetic performance that makes me want to take a few games off as a fan.
I don't know what they need to do to shake it up, but something's gotta give. I didn't see the postgame interviews but the comments others have posted from Toews seem to be spot on. How will Bednar et. al adjust? We'll see.
Zero 5 on 5 goals against mrazek is pathetic. As a great man once said, I'm not impressed by that performance
