@Flyers de Philadelphie

1. I'm a little lost as to what the game plan is with the flyers. The GM says we're in a rebuild. Yet they're winning games? Unless they plan on trading a lot of players for some good draft picks, I dont see how winning helps with a rebuild.

  2. glad to FINALLY see one of the YouTube hockey channels I follow acknowledge the unexpected success of the flyers this season, here's hoping they can keep it up

  3. it feels so great to receive recognition from other people on how good the flyers have been. the flyers are my team and i’m loving how this rebuild is going, the young guys are on fire. fun team to watch

  4. I’m a flyers fan and I wouldn’t have picked them for the playoffs at the start of the season. Let’s hope they can keep it up for the rest of the season.

  5. Pleasantly surprised lifelong Flyers fan here. They’re competitive, fun to watch, extremely committed, endlessly hard working, and completely bought in to an excellent coaching system and coach. Cam York is the only player who isn’t impressive. He’s highly overrated, and thinks he is better than he is. A solid overall defenseman but he’s got a long way to go before I call him a ‘blessing’. Sanheim, on the other hand is an absolute force and it’s been awesome watching him develop.

  6. Coyotes, canucks, flyers and red wings. All doing better than anyone thought. 1 for each division, kinda cool

  7. Torts has to be at least top 3 coach in history. A number of coaches have a higher win % and only he has only 1 cup to Scotty Bowman's 9(!), but Bowman and others had some absolutely loaded rosters. Torts has made a career of taking sub par teams deep in the playoffs.

  8. We are coming for all of you haters. I still don't think this is a playoff team but wow it's Soo much more fun watching this team.

  9. As a Pens fan, I can’t even hate. They deserve every win they get. They are a very hard working team. Wish the pens played as hard as them sometimes

  10. If only their power play wasn't god awful. I think they'd be blowing teams out more often too. They're very fun to watch regardless.

  11. I don’t think I’d call that a pickpocket that was more of being given a gift. Only thing missing was a bow on that pass

  12. I jumped out of skin watching this during the game lastnight!! The exactly reason he's my favorite right now.

  13. People who know hockey aren't shocked by this. This is the Torts effect. Columbus could have been the same this year too, but the hurt feelings report got submitted, and they suck

  14. totalling shocking! As a life time Flyers fan, and I remember when the franchise started, it is just unbelievable how this team has played. All the credit to Torts, Brierre and even Chuck Fletcher who I couldn't stand as GM, but he did make at least one great trade and that was taking a chance on Tippett in the Giroux trade. I thought he was going to be a total bust, but it looks like he just needed a fresh start. So many players have stepped up!

  15. I've been saying the Flyers are a playoff team since they beat the Pens back to back (not that the Pens are a litmus test of good teams)

  16. Yes, I have been commenting since the start of the season this was the team to watch and is going to win the cup. You all 💩 all over those comments 😅

  17. This is less Tortes behind the bench and more the Devils, Canes and Isles struggling with consistency and the Pens and Caps being in decline. It's a perfect Hopium Storm for Flyers fans and it's only going to mess-up their draft and gaurantee the Rangers a trip to the 3rd round.

  18. this team is litterally just seattle from last year there just a all around solid team but honestly even better then seattle

  19. Torts laid the foundation for the lighting dynasty, he isn't perfect but I'm glad he is for philly that team deserves a shot

  20. The additions of Sean Walker and Brad Shaw ended up having significant impact, as well. Gotta give those guys their roses even the former might get dealt for assets and the latter will likely leave soon for a head coaching position. Great video, though. Subscribed.

  21. THANK YOU JOHNNY HAWKEY for finally showing some love to MY squad since 1987!!! It’s brutal being a Flyers fan some years. Hand to God I told people all summer, the Flys are gonna be better than you think and WILL sneak in playoffs….Now it looks like possibly a higher seed than a wildcard. But hey…Xmas hasn’t passed yet. Injury bug could destroy them….Trouba wouldn’t fight Deslauriers….punk lol

  22. As a Flyers fan living in the heart of Leaf Nation, I am so proud of what Danny Keith and Torts have created. LET’S GO FLYERS!
