He keeps coming close to a goal, but he also keeps making some brutal mistakes that cost. Maybe it's way past time that Lavoie or whoever else should be getting some opportunity.

This shows how stupid Holland is. Brown’s bonus of 3.225M is to play 10 games, just 10 games nothing else. Brown was a good player, but after a serious injury that missed the whole last season, there is considerable risk that it takes a very long time to get back on track. This is a result driven league, don’t you think the Oilers should protect themselves a little bit by including “performance” into Brown’s bonus, like 1M in games played, 1M for scoring 10 goals, 1M in getting 30 pts. These aren’t tough # for a health Brown to achieve. Holland, what were you thinking, you are an incompetent GM, probably one of the worst GM in the league now.

I was high on the minimum salary but not the bonus deferred to next year. Big gamble with the injury he had and is not working….I think a good thing having a seat in the box, might make a couple others take note.
