As soon as Devon Toews said that about the Avs I immediately knew he was mainly probably talking about Jonathan Drouin. When you have a guy as highly touted as a prospect as Drouin and you see how well he did in minors and he comes up to the NHL and hasnt clicked for him at alll..WOnder if hes a coachable player.. You begin to wonder if its his attitude towards changing his game to fit the NHLs game. He probably thinks what wprked in Junior will work in the NHL. a guy as highly touted as that shouldnt still be on a league min deal with 4 goals in 30 games playing 2nd line minutes with Lehkonen out. first PP sometimes now too. Its just perposturous. The guy has been a defensive disaster at times this season. Often times out of position and it shows in the plus minus. That line is a combined -8. That line of Drouin , Wood and Colton just hasnt been anything special defensively and have left the defence out to dry several times this season. Colton and Wood are not defensive dynamos either neither is Johnansen who is another guy Toews could be talking about. Theres a reason Johansen didnt fit well in a defensively minded Columbus Team. Didnt live up to expectations for a defensively minded Predators team. Hes not the type of player that needs to be in any type of defensive role imo. I think Colton being 2C says alot.

For the Jersey Oilers game I would wait 2-3 minutes into the game hope theres not a goal and ride with the O6.5. New Jersey has not been good this year in the first period.Often times come out slow, I wouldnt be surprized if theres no goals 4-5 minutes into this game giving you a good cash on the O6.5 play as you said Bryan I also hate the O7. I always try and wait for the live 6.5 if theres an early goal then I just have to scrap the play.
