That 3rd Buffalo goal was one of the best awareness plays i’ve seen in a while, Alex Tuch notices Mitch didn’t see him from his shoulder check, so he goes to where bertuzzi is to intercept the pass rather than going to mitch to challenge for the puck.
Not entirely Samsonov’s fault. The Leafs don’t have a consistent defence strategy. Why doesn’t the team learn from coaches from the past and carry their playbook over the ages. Imlach, Burns and Quinn. They all had stable bluelines. By the time they figure it out The Canadiens have already won another f—- cup!! Tired of this.
