I've got to be honest, there's not much in hockey that brings a bigger smile to my face than seeing Leafs fans buy up all the tickets in an away arena just to watch them lose.
I don’t know I just feel like with all the fire power on offense between Matthews, Marner and Nylander that Defense for Toronto should be a secondary facet
Basically you have a team that hasn't made any changes, the salary cap is ate up by a top heavy few, I saw all the moves being made pre-season, what do you expect from what you've seen other than business as usual?
I haven't seen anything which has even remotely wowed me.
As for Samsonov and Woll… they're the absolute LEAST of the problems in Toronto.
(On a side note, if there aren't any goalies available strengthen the defence… bit too complex a mathematical formula for Treliving and Co.)
The Leafs should’ve made a move for ‘Flower’ I feel like he would’ve been the perfect goaltender for TO, he’s still got some left in the tank and he’s won!

The leafs have tavares. He is cursed (I know-I paid a which in Massapequa $50.00 to place the curse on him. Totally worth it). They will NEVER win the cup with him.

Who knew, certainly not leaf’s management. I’m sure Shanahan will come up with yet another 5 year plan featuring small soft forwards and washed up cast offs on D. Just because it hasn’t worked yet doesn’t mean it’s not a great plan. Bet they feel they are one tough guy who cant skate, or more depth scoring away from solving all their defensive issues.

Let this be said …. ADIN HILL , SUCKED for a few years hence NO ONE WANTING HIM …. Vegas got lucky , they play a great system ( Toronto has no system ) and they wouldn't even have gotten him if there starter didn't get hurt . Point is if Toronto did the same went after a goalie your words no one wanted , the media would lose it !!!!
Its easy to blame the goalie when the whole team is responsible. The goalie is only as good as the team infront of him. Sure Sammy could have had 1 of those goals but a lot of the goals that go in are as much the defense and fwds fault as is it the goalie's.
Joseph Woll is one of the players on the Leafs that I am NOT worried about in terms of the playoffs.
Gotta say I feel like a lot of these hockey YouTubers are really stuck to talking about Toronto Edmonton and Chicago, why can’t we get some videos about the devils, Winnipeg, or the yotes, all these teams either fell HARD or came from nothing to be some of the best teams in the league rn

Oh, the certainty. "They're going to make the playoffs, it's just what happens when they get there that matters". Wow. They're in a playoff spot by one point right now. And sure they have games in hand. But they still haven't had what you could call a major injury. If Nylander, Matthews, Reilly, or Marner went down for a long stretch, this team would be in real risk of missing the playoffs. Maybe they already are.

Toronto is where good goalies go to die, you won't go anywhere in the playoffs without a top ranked goalie. Bad scouting, bad contracts and media pressure make it an impossible situation. Drink the Kool Aid now and save your soul.
