Still think lindholm is a long shot but, gotta figure Allen is a prime target as we get back from break. Need a steady vet to back kooch and not burn him out.

Ew Lindholm can stay in Calgary. Is Dundon trying to make the most toxic team possible?

On lindholm, where does he fit and does he move the needle for us?

Still unsure which is a priority. I know we will never have a pure scorer because it doesn’t fit our system, and Lindholm is the balance we would expect. He has a 40 goal season as well.
Not convinced we need a goalie. But also don’t want to get stuck.
Wonder if Drury would be part of the deal? These center lines are pretty sexy.

I played through this season in HLM 24 and I got Kessel and Lindholm and then won the cup

I wonder if our suzuki is a positive asset for montreal. Might be for feels alone lol.
Haven’t been keeping up with them that much lately, idk what they’re in need of atm. Picks and prospects?

I follow both teams closely, and for me, if the cost is right, Allen makes a fair bit of sense. He is not an old school 1A who can play every game, but he can take the lead, and he has stolen a fair number of games this year.
Allen has a unique style, and when he is off – he is off. So far this year he has been more « on ».
I doubt the cost will be high as the only other teams rumored in the mix are Edmonton and Seattle.

I really hated seeing Lindholm go and I wasn’t surprised when his career took off in Calgary. It would be huge to get him back. I’m not convinced you can win a Cup with Kotkaniemi and Staal as second and third line centers, but as third and fourth line centers behind Aho and Lindholm that’s a really stacked lineup.

I don’t believe the lindholm discussion could end up with a deal. He already has some spite towards the organization with how he was treated towards the end of his tenure here (he mocked the storm surge); I don’t see it happening. Even though I do think he’s a great fit if he came back…
