that if they get another strong defensman and get rid of Tyler Meyers and say a guy that is like Giordano's defensive style player like him and 1 more top end forward would put them in a run at the cup

Hockey is a game of defense and offense. You can't build a truly consistent and winning team without a commitment to both facets of the game.
Kuzy is a really good player , just like Miller whom the media was running out of town last year.
Definitely need Kuzy to forecheck and buy into the team game. His biggest strength was supposedly goal scoring, but since that has been a struggle and Canucks aren't hurting for more goals, he needs to bring something else to the table. I hope he figures it out because he's a great asset for the team.
