Salut r/CalgaryFlames, j’espère que c’est le bon endroit pour poster ceci… J’ai acheté un mini casque de hockey sur eBay pour un fan des Flames de Calgary de la famille pour Noël. Malheureusement, il est toujours en cours d’expédition et n’arrivera très probablement pas ici à temps, mais je ne me suis pas rendu compte jusqu’à présent que ce n’était peut-être pas légitime. Est-ce que quelqu’un connaît ces signatures ? J’ai essayé de rechercher HockeyGraphs Ink en ligne, mais en vain. J’ai trouvé Hockey Ink mais je pense que c’est une société différente. Did they provide a COA that your could authenticate
At first glance it looks fine but it’s difficult to tell on closer inspection because of the shape of the helmet and how it effects the signatures. I do have difficulty imagining someone faking a Mark Jankowski or Mangiapane signature but you never know.
I couldn’t find any info on Hockeygraphs either but the COA looks like a print-at-home certificate. 99% of COAs are garbage- that doesn’t mean something is fake, it just means the COA is just a piece of paper someone printed and added to make things look official.
I can’t say 100% the signatures are authentic or fake. I’d lean to authentic based on a first impression and the unlikelihood of someone forging certain signatures. I would suggest reaching out to the seller to ask where the signatures were obtained and when. If they have no info, that would be concerning.
Honestly man, that looks very cool. Signatures look right. I’m no expert, but that’s a cool Christmas gift.
