Bruins were definitely flat-footed on their skates in this game. Worst game of this season thus far. Congrats to Winnipeg for a dominating game all around.
McAvoy always does that in leaves the Bs with a 2 on 1. I don't like that all the time. It hurts the Bs unless he scores and he doesn't really when he does that.
Are you seriously just skipping the part of the game in which the Bruins went from 16 SOG to 25 and SCORED A GOAL???? What the hell?! Are we skipping goals in the highlights now? Let alone an only goal? NHL highlights hitting new depths yet again.
Jets are for real, and very good chance to win the Central Division, and challenge for the Western Conference title, likely against Vegas. Ehlers with a nice setup to Villardi, and Perfetti with a nice setup pass to Ninoreitter. Jets have added a lot of great depth players, and are very exciting to watch. Over the last 8 games they've beaten Colorado 2 times, LA Kings, and now Boston, so this team is for real and a threat to win the Cup.
bruins need a fundamentals coach that teaches them how to play the man. the puck never, ever, ever knocks itself into the net. a player has to shoot it, but the Bs defensemen continue to puck watch, playing neither the man or the puck. i was taught to look for a guy to pick up when the shot was coming in, but he Bs play a no check, zone defense that turns defensemen into zombies. if this team didn't have great goaltending, they'd be battling ottawa for the cellar.
