Ignoring goaltending over the past 6 years has been a choice. Bargain basement goaltending is proving to have a cost.
Had to LMFAO as I saw all the Steve Dangle Wanna-Be's in the lower seats, in Leafs jerseys, positively losing their minds after every Sabre's dagger! What a hoot!

JD pulling up that clip from Woll injury episode needed Sammy to have a bit more Witty. JD spent almost 1/2 hour in that episode crying like a 2 year old toddler that had his soother taken away. Sammy pretty much says relax and maybe have a little faith. JD bringing up that clip like he was right and Sammy was wrong is pretty pathetic. Yes JD you were right to be concerned. Sammy was also right to check you as the only content you brought to that entire episode was childlike whining!!!

tired of the leaf goalie excuse. want a great goalie then get one.( you have had years to get one) if not then play better team defense. They got rid of a bunch of defensive players . what do you expect. I love Hildeby but the team infront of him will be playing pond hockey. but he is good

They are professional players if the team gives up it on them not just not the goalie fault. Maybe you got to bench the stars.

I still don't think Sammy is wrong in that clip. There was reason to believe that when he is not being pressured by another goalie, Samsanov can be a league average or better goalie. He was that less than 12 month ago. Arbitration or having a young family obviously did him in mentally.
I also just disagree with JD on that first goal. Even if their structure was perfect, it was a soft wrister from the top of the circle. That just can't go in. You can understand why the team was deflated. And the whole the "team quit on him" is bogus. This isn't the first game this has happened to him. Tampa times 2, Columbus just last week, among others. The team came back and got at least a point in all of those games. This team has been fighting for him.
Could we please get Jack Campbell back??
