  1. I think Bruins need a leader… Marchand is not a leader that inspires these players to work harder like Bergy did.. I wonder if they could swing getting foligno back … he is not going to score a lot, but he was on the same page as Bergeron for motivating his teamates.
Bruins have enough talent already… they need motivators not only during games but off the ice too.

  2. Answer is yes…. We’re missing a top 6 forward that we though we had with JD this year, but we don’t, just feels like if pasta isn’t having a huge game then we just don’t score goals.

  3. Having ulmark and sway. It is a luxury they can't afford. They have plenty of pieces they could move.

  4. I think that a good trade for the bruins would be ullmark and lysell for Sebastian aho. The bruins add a number one center and the canes are getting some better goaltending. Lysell may not even be necessary in this trade

  5. I think we’re hurting this year because of the loss of Bergy, Krech, Hall, and important depth like Clifton, Foligno, Nosek, and AJ Greer. Sweeney was ignorant to trade all our first round picks away because we all knew there was a chance of struggling without them.

  6. If Boston wants a scorer be prepared to give up a lot. Jake Guentzel MIGHT be available. Kuzemnko from Vancouver is probalbly available.

  7. Are they not playing to the caliber they should be, or were they just playing above the caliber they should have been? I came into the season thinking it would be a rough one and you'd just have to grin and bear it, but hopeful because they'll have a ton more cap space next season to get more help. Will anybody be available is the question, I'm really not familiar with who might be in FA other than Elias Lindholm, but he also seems to be the only rational trade target right now. I guess the argument for trading for him now is that you might be able to sign him to a more reasonable contract than what he'll get in FA, but he can always choose to walk like Bertuzzi. I'm also concerned he might only be a slight upgrade over Zacha. I'm not sure it's worth trading off the few assets they do have this season for another early exit though. Zacha and Coyle have been a pleasant surprise with how they've stepped up, but I don't see them cutting the mustard in the playoffs if they're your no.1 & no. 2.

  8. Lol, these takes are hilarious. Bruins should definitely trade for picks not for a run this year. Lots of cap flexibility next year, hopefully no DeBrusk or Gryz.

  9. Yep.. it's usually the plan for winter trade deadline. Can't wait to see what Sweeney brings us after Christmas.
    🎅

I believe that's why they're playing certain prospects- need NHL ice time for trade value. One of my biggest criticisms of Cassidy, left trade cupboards bare

I like Oskar Steen, but he may end up on the trading block. We can't go too small on our forward lines with Steen, Poitras & March and all well under 6'

    Wotherspoon may go.
    Bussi?

Absolutely yes, someone's going to get traded. We are in rebuild

Sweeney was smart enough to ensure we went into the season with an outstanding defense

Because we all know we have to rebuild the forward lines.

We can rebuild this team without missing playoffs

We're doing okay in the standings – still firmly in playoff contention

Santa's going to bring something after Christmas and Mrs Claus is his scout

    🤶

It's ugly, but these are the types of seasons that propel us further in the playoffs.

I know it's crazy, but I want torey Krug back. No clue how that would happen

Maybe somebody like Lindholm will end up on ltir and that will free up a bunch of cap space?
