Well, as an Avs fan, that was just about the saddest thing all season. I can't tell if the Nashville loss where we gave up 2 in 20 seconds was worse than this or not. Anyway, this is a prime example of why and how the intermisson can destroy momentum, and how everything can and will go wrong if you let your foot off of the gas pedal.
Way too much cheering for Colorado in there. Glad the Yotes turned the energy around and got the W. Can't wait for em to get the arena stuff sorted out and move the club in the right direction. The fans and the players deserve better.
back to back shutouts, a 7-0 and 8-2 blowout, 2 goals in last minute to lose a 4-3 game, now blowing a 4-0 lead. Not to mention all the sloppy passing, losing battles on board, defensive zone turnovers and giving up goals last minute of periods. This team is scary good and scary bad at the same time. It's JEKYLL AND hyde and don't know which team will play any given night or any given period. It's frustrating to see a great team losing it's potential.
