Let's face it, all the wrong kind of players. Except Cozens, Benson and Levi.
About the only thing left is to hope the lottery gods smile on the Sabres. They need that kid playing for Canada at the WJC. This team is going no where. Cozens said it best. A really soft team. They show up maybe 1 out of 3 games. Its not going to get any better.
Wings are my favorite team but I also really like Buffalo and many of it's players. I really thought Buffalo was a lock for the playoffs this year and I had high hopes for Detroit. It looks like both teams are headed for the lottery. How disappointing, my two favorite teams both stink. I wish I liked to drink, maybe I would feel better right now.
Our coach looks like a deer looking in the headlights – I don't think he has a clue nor the players. Same old responses, nothing is changing. I was not impressed by Boston. They are not the big bad Bruins and if we would have executed a tough physical game, they could have been beaten. Does anyone on the Sabres know how to make a low shot to the ice that may create a rebound? We can't pass, enter the O zone in unison, we coughed the puck up so much it was sickening. The TNT announcers could not believe how a team with so much talent could regress so bad.
No point to this team or season . A GM that is unqualified and afraid to make any moves . A roster filled with unmotivated players , caused by signing this guys to long term contracts. Soft team , below average goaltending , a good coach but a coach that makes excuses for the lack of effort from this group.

Can someone explain why EVERY time Mittlestadt enters the O-zone, he stops at the boards/top of face-off circle, tries to pivot, and attempt a pass into the high slot. it fails EVERY TIME. What ever happened to basic hockey theory of getting the puck deep or driving to the net? This behavior is destroying Mittelstadt's career.

Lifelong fan. I didn't miss a game for 9 seasons. I don't watch anymore. It's a shame they lost a fan like me. I used to schedule my life around these guys.
The forwards can’t score, the defensemen can’t defend, the goalies can’t stop the puck, the coaches can’t coach, and the general manager can’t manage. And yet long term contract extensions have been handed out like Halloween candy. What a mess.
