Not a serious team. They haven’t had my undivided attention for a while now. I’m usually on my phone and this is going on in the background.
Tough to say when we have a lot of stars on the team but more often than not the games are boring

That game sucked
Sounded like we dominated the 1st period when I was listening on my way home from work and then we go and lose…seems like the script is the same for every home game vs Ottawa smh
Did we get a post game presser last night? Because I can’t find any comments from the team
This team does not have it. They’re going nowhere.
Quickest and easiest attempt at a fix would be to dump Keefe. They can’t trade for goaltending – there’s no A-lister out there anyway. Same for D or dumping Marner (or whoever) That’s a process that is gonna take some time.
Keefe could be gone in the next 10 mins. « He Sheldon – BT wants to see you ». Completely within their control and you don’t need a dance partner.
Get Berube or give it to Boucher. Whatever. So fkn mad at this lot not being ready to go against cellar dwellers and also rans.
Enough – Keefe can’t get it done.
Vegas lost to Anaheim, nobody is thinking they suck. The Leafs are allowed to lose sometimes. They’ll win in Columbus.
Bad game to watch with my buddy who’s an insufferable Sens fan. We were thinking of getting tickets to that one, glad we didn’t now.
I legitimately think the black / Next Gen jerseys are cursed. Seriously, when was the last time we won with them? Seems like the Buds always put up a stinker with them on. Feels like some ghost of Maple Leafs past is unhappy that they aren’t wearing blue and white, and has smited them from beyond the grave.
I generally don’t worry about how hockey fans look at us Leaf fans, but then I read some of the comments in here and… yeah, they’ve got a point. God DAMN some of you are insufferable babies.

The Leafs had three shots off the post and three different scoring chances where the goalie was beat, and some diving defenseman managed a last second bailout.
The Sens scored a goal from BEHIND THE NET with a strange bounce off Jones’s back and then added an empty netter.
I typically don’t sympathize with the whole « it’s hard to play in Toronto » thing (that’s what the money is for), but sweet Jesus some of you really won’t be satisfied until they go 82 and 0. 🙄
Christmas vacation hangover. Bertuzzi needs to try the connor geekie knob cause the no tape aint it. Guy could have single handedly won that game.
My takeaways from last night’s game were, 1) we took advantage of a Sens team that looked sluggish and disorganized all throughout the first (we also came out with some jump), 2) after building a quick two goal lead, our players seemed to switch to cruise control, 3) the Sens were far more organized and ready from the second period on, and 4) we missed at least 4 wide open empty-net gimme goals.
To my eyes, one thing exacerbated the next. Had we played an even 1-1 or 0-0 first, I think we win because we don’t fall into an early sense of ease. Had we buried just ONE of those gimme goals, I think it puts doubt into the Sens and gives us a boost, leading to a win. It was a weird game, but let’s not pretend that the Sens are an AHL-quality team. As a team they’ve seriously underperformed given their personnel, and it’s fairly typical for a team to raise their game following a mid-season head coach replacement (remember when Babcock was replaced with Keefe, for example).
