  1. I'm sorry but it bin like what 8 year with the same core 4 time to move one or both of them Nylander is good but sometime very lazy same with maner I just want the team to be better over all and be go in playoff to

  2. Sheldon Heefe has to as the coach. He is always out coached believe me. Time to say goodbye to Sheldon.

  3. Marner is our new "GM"….Giveaway Mitch. His play has been horrid. Ongoing giveaways and passes onto opponents sticks. Watch him in isolation, and you'll see what I am talking about. Plus, his physical size restricts him with checking. His numbers don't match his salary. A new contract with a raise? I think NOT!

  4. The core 4 is carrying this team, without them they would be brutal. That said they are a regular season team.

  5. I mean, how many times are we going to hear this story? Four guys have the majority of the cap. Those four guys make the type of money that requires them to play like superstars.

They routinely fail to do so. The team does not have the cap space to get better players to fill in everything else.

The team is designed to have mega offense to make up for everything.

The four guys who are paid to have mega offense. Simply do not create the type of offense to justify their cap space.

    First round exit.

Ge how many times do we have to hear the same thing?

  6. I would move Marner no question. He wont hit, he wont fight, and he will never ever, grow facial hair. Marner seems like he has something on his mind other than hockey. Maybe he is like me and after he got married his balls just fell clean out of his body. Who would be better for a run in the playoffs, Mitch or Hellebuyck.

  7. problem is defense. defense not good enough to break out plays for forwards to get more offense zone time. trade nylander hes a huge defensive liability in his own zone

  8. Marner should be 9 mil , Tavares should be 5 or 6 , if they sign those deals then we will be in good shape if not then we need a change anyway ,

  9. I have no idea how people invest their emotions in this team every year.
Why care so much when they obviously don't.
I used to care a lot when Wendel and Sittler were there because you could just tell they played with heart.

  10. Leafs are soft…bad teams may lack talent, but they don't necessarily lack toughness. Leafs can't beat the teams that are well balanced in both categories.

  11. Not to disagree with the premise of Marner earning too much for what he brings, but he does play the PK whereas Nylander does not. Now, do you want a $10.9M player on the PK? That is a whole different question. Maybe in the playoffs or when there is a close key game vs a divisional rival. But all the time? In the regular season in games where others can play the PK? No! And when they put Matthews on the PK earlier this year, umm, heck no! Leafs cannot win a Cup with a soft core… And if they do retain Nylander next year, the Leafs will have two right wingers consuming 1/4 of the new cap of $88M, more or less. That's crazy. What isn't crazy, win or lose, the Leafs are the most valuable and profitable team in the league. So if you are MLSE, does winning matter so much? Answer – 1967. Hmmm.

  12. it's not the forwards, they can't keep the puck out of the net, lots of scoring power, no fkn defence like every year, 40 shots on net every game sinse last cup they one. the team is jinxed imo
